Hello March!
I am glad to report it's been a busy month of February. The city was abuzz, as it usually is, for the Food and Wine Festival.  So many of my clients love to come in for these events! While people were sampling culinary creations from top chefs in the country, they also built up an appetite for real estate!    
This month we put one of our listings under contract  in under 30 days! We also sold our 2 bedroom direct ocean condo at Oceana Bal Harbour, and listed another for sale. Do they say any press is good press?  Here I was mentioned by the Master Broker's Forum and the Miami Herald as being the second highest sale that week.

In Sunny Isles, The 52-story Ritz Carlton Residences is now complete, and has received its temporary certificate of occupancy. Closings are starting.
The developer still has some condos left. This is a good time to make a deal since they wish to close out. Similarly, the Armani tower started closings last month and is offering deals on existing inventory so they can close out the building. 
Along the same beach, the south tower at Estates at Acqualina has now reached level 48, while the north tower was pouring level 10 yesterday. These will be the tallest towers in Sunny Isles when completed. 
Further South, Aston Martin Residences has had its first glass windows installed. Aston Martin Residences is being built on what some have called the most expensive acre in Miami, at the mouth of the Miami River. When complete, the tower will become the second tallest in Miami at 816 feet above ground. It will include around 66 stories. Completion is scheduled for 2022.

Here's the First Photo of the Newly Completed Ritz Carlton Sunny Isles, Which Features 6,000 Panels of Glass 
The 52-story Ritz Carlton Sunny Isles is now complete and has received its temporary certificate of occupancy. Below is the first high-resolution photo of the newly completed tower.

The exterior of the tower features 365,000 square feet of glass, or more than 6,000 glass panes total. Arquitectonica is the architect.

Developers have also announced that they sold the tower's last remaining penthouse this month. All four penthouses have now been sold for a combined $82 million.

In the last year alone, there have been $150 million in pre-construction sales in the building.

Grand Hyatt is coming to South Beach. 'Sky Bridge' will connect to convention center.

An 800-room hotel is coming to South Beach, and it's going to be a Grand Hyatt. The 17-story luxury property will connect to the Miami Beach convention center. ARQUITECTONICA
There is only one Grand Hyatt hotel in Florida. The second one is planned for South Beach - and it comes with a "sky bridge."
The 800-room luxury hotel planned for city-owned land near the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center will be managed by the Chicago-based company, Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber announced during his State of the City speech Monday.
The new convention center hotel will join the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay as the company's only properties in Florida, and the 13th in the United States, according to information from Grand Hyatt's website. The brand also has a hotel in the Bahamas.
